Ruvimbo Chikwava is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of AfriSol. He is leading AfriSol in its growth to become a fully integrated agro-processor with a Pan-African footprint. Driven by a passion to create a lasting positive impact on the continent especially amongst smallholder farmers and all stakeholders, Ruvimbo has led the charge in crafting and implementing the groups strategy. He has over 15 year’s work experience in audit, finance, treasury, strategy, deal structuring (mergers and acquisitions), and operations and before co-founding AfriSol, he was the Treasury and Business Development Executive at the largest vertically integrated agro-processing company in Zimbabwe where he was responsible for formulating and executing the growth strategy of the organisation, mergers and acquisitions, Greenfield projects and funding. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa (UNISA), is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Zimbabwe as an Articled Accountant having trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for six years and he is an MBA graduate from the African Leadership University School of Business where he now serves as a student advisor in the MBA program advising students on their capstone projects as a Subject Matter Expert.
